Operations Data Analyst, Biological Modeling

Tempus Biological Modeling is building the world’s largest patient-derived organoid library to evaluate real world data observations by constructing large scale data sets of molecular and experimental data. Tempus Biological Modeling is actively engaging with partners in the Life Science industry, and we are seeking an Operations Data Analyst to derive insights from our operations and scientific data.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for sample and data coordination across multiple workflows and pipelines

• Pulling and structuring data internally and supporting external deliverables

• Analyze and develop data driven solutions to optimize operational workflows, business operations, and experimental designs

• Present analytics using data visualization tools (Office, python, R,Tableau) for senior leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate work with a strong emphasis in data science, statistics, information systems

• Working knowledge of python, SQL, bash scripting, git/github, docker, and cloud services (aws or google). Other languages like C, R, GO, julia are a plus but not required

• Previous work in the domains of medicine or biological sciences is helpful, but not required

• Exceptional organizational skills and superb attention to detail 

• Self-motivated and able to prioritize and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy

• Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Industry experience in data science is highly desirable

• Industry experience in datasets involving biology, translational biology, and/or real world data is a plus
