  • This is a senior role where the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing critical business insights and communication of findings to the Partnerships and Advisory team. 
  • The individual will identify, evaluate, and document data sources to guide the team through all programs and initiatives, enabling continuous improvement in data quality, departmental performance, and overall business performance. 
  • They will guide the business in best practice around developing detailed business requirements, conducting gap analysis, building and operationalising processes for timely data availability, and KPIs within the business for the purpose of identifying trends and evaluating the success of the business’s initiatives.
  • They will have responsibility and accountability for developing models and ad hoc reports, sharing observations and recommendations with senior data management, executives, and stakeholders for further consideration.
  • It will be a busy and diverse role working with a diverse team, across multiple time zones. 
  • In addition the individual will be able to mentor and manage junior team members as needed.

Your role at Mambu

  • Proactively engage with the Partnerships and Advisory stakeholders, but not limited to,  to identify, prioritise, develop, and execute successful reporting and analysis 
  • Support internal teams with data related questions and issues Establish a calendar of recurring reports and a process to respond to ad hoc analysis & reporting requirements
  • Build working relationship through timely follow-up & response
  • Respond to inquiries by understanding business needs, gather relevant data/ information and provide the required analysis 
  • Take ownership of service issues and work with stakeholder to resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Accurately document & record requirements, applying judgment to help clarify the ‘problem statement’ and recommend analyses.
  • Build standard reports and train teams on their use. 
  • Validate all data used for reporting and analysis. 
  • Improve quality & efficiency by recommending improvements to existing procedures and tools
  • Understand and interpret the outputs from analysis to draw insights and recommend improvements 
  • Ensure adherence to daily/weekly targets and timely escalation of issues. 
  • People management and mentoring of one

What you’re bringing to the table

  • Experience in a multinational technology company, preferably experience in SaaS industry
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Can also demonstrate skills in SQL server reporting services, Salesforce, analysis services, Tableau, or any other data visualization or business insight tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for this position.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in business data analytics with a demonstrated track record of successfully supporting the business through data Some managerial experience with ability to manage and mentor junior team members
  • Develops and drives consensus while implementing innovative process and strategy improvements 
  • Ability to think strategically while still being detail-orientedTeam collaborator, with excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels, across a diverse groupDemonstrated ability to influence and drive results
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication of complex topics to a diverse audience such as management, technical peers, and business stakeholdersAbility to operate in a transforming, fast-paced, complex, high-visibility environment with multiple, competing priorities
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, conflict management, and dealing with ambiguityStrong information-seeking skills and drive to make things happen
  • Strong skills in building positive internal relationships and deliver exceptional serviceA good knowledge of English is a must. 
  • Some travel may be required
