We are currently seeking a Data Analyst - Software Quality.  This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in data mining, analysis, and visualization. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. 

The Role:

  • Work collaboratively to define KPIs for software quality and productivity
  • Design, develop and maintain advanced reporting capabilities and dashboards for tracking software development, quality, and performance metrics based on various data sources
  • Drive data model consistency across teams and tools
  • Visualize real-time data to assist agile teams in real-time decision making 
  • Generate reports for making and archiving release decisions
  • Use analytics to identify opportunities for software quality and process improvements
  • Design dashboard views for multiple audiences, from individual SW developer to executive level
  • Present outcomes and progress to the executive team as well as to other audiences
  • Evaluate, select and integrate 3rd party tools
  • Provide documentation and training 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Bachelor of Science, in the areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Expert in data analysis, visualization, and communication
  • Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations using Grafana, Tableau, or similar
  • Experienced in SQL and Python

Advantageous:

  • Experience in embedded and/or automotive SW
  • Experience with agile and waterfall SW development methodologies
  • Experience with SW project and quality management systems
