As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will get to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit.  We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Power BI to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex datasets into intuitive visualizations and reports that provide valuable insights to support business decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver compelling visualizations that enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data analysis needs and translate them into actionable insights and meaningful reports.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to create meaningful datasets for analysis.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI to present data in a user-friendly manner to communicate key metrics and KPIs effectively.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Continuously monitor data quality and accuracy, resolving any data-related issues that arise.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices to optimize data visualization capabilities.
• Create and maintain documentation for data visualization processes and best practices.
• Present findings and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on data visualization using Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation using SQL and other data tools.
• Advanced skills in creating interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database design principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts is a plus.
• Experience with other data visualization tools.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science Degree  A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
• 3+ years’ experience in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI, including data visualization, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query, and Power BI Service.
• Proven data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling is a plus.
