Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Sales Data Analyst who will be the link between Geotab's Sales Operations and Sales business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful management of data integrity, data quality and data sync/integrations. This position will advocate for the proper use and attention to data as it pertains to Sales. What you’ll do: 
As a Sales Data Analyst your key area of responsibility will be to act as the lead Sales Data Steward, build process and procedures to ensure the sales data remains accurate. You will be responsible to manage sales data, perform data validation and cleansing to ensure quality of data. You will also need to establish internal policies and standards and ensure compliance by defining and implementing policies and procedures for the day-to-day operational and administrative management of sales data. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Sales Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Finance teams. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions. You will also possess strong knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce administration. In addition, the successful candidate will have a strategic mindset, a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Act as the lead Sales Data Steward, build processes and procedures to ensure the sales data remains accurate.
  • Establish internal policies and standards and ensure compliance by defining and implementing policies and procedures for the day-to-day operational and administrative management of sales data.
  • Manage sales data, perform data validation and cleansing to ensure quality of data.
  • Lead efforts in managing data integrity, data quality, data sync/integrations and work closely with the Sales Operations data analytics and insights team to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Align data cleanse activity including but not limited to, account and contact updates in line with our Data Retention Policies and GDPR requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to gather feedback, concerns, metrics and identification of issues.
  • Monitor data usage to assist Sales teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where Sales teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.
  • Represent the Sales Operations function and support internal training and roll-out of new features and functionality as it relates to Salesforce account and contact data initiatives. Ensure effective communications are created and shared on an ongoing basis related to Sales data.
  • Provide expert project leadership and guidance to the team as SME.
  • Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
  • This position has no managerial responsibilities and no direct reports. 

What you’ll bring to this role:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales Operations and data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com and Salesforce administration.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Strategic mindset, has a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.
  • Solid business acumen as it relates to sales and marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Business or related field
