Vinted is Europe’s biggest preloved fashion marketplace, with 37 million members in 13 countries. Our mission is green: we want to make second-hand the first choice globally.
A team of over 700 people across Vinted’s offices in Vilnius, Berlin, Utrecht and Prague develop and support our platform. We share a unique work culture that’s based on aiming high, taking ownership, co-creating, caring, and growth.
We're looking for a full-time Data Analyst to strengthen the Utrecht office for our newly-boosted team. From our Utrecht office we’re exploring opportunities for our expansion plans within Europe and beyond.
As development and iteration speed is of essence, we do so with our own, decentralized and autonomously developed platform. As data analyst, you form the essential link between the centralised strategy, marketing & finance teams and the huge amounts of data in Vinted B.V. datawarehouse.

In this position, you’ll:

  • Support the central marketing team by implementing and maintaining the dashboarding and data preparation needed for their analysis. This includes, but is not limited to: the marketing attribution-model as well as the Customer Lifetime Value calculations. With support from engineering, you maintain the ETL process from the Vinted BV data warehouse to the central data warehouse
  • Support the content marketing team by providing relevant segments as well as insights on the effectiveness of their campaigns
  • Work with the central strategy manager on reporting on the main business metrics and offer support on ad hoc requests as well as more in depth analysis
  • Support finance by preparing datasets and dashboarding for their analysis. This includes revenue reporting, payments balance reconciliation, shipping costs reconciliation and cost of goods sold reconciliation. You are the direct point of contact and help solve any inconsistencies if they arise.
  • Support the customer support team in building dashboarding around the agent performance and efficiency as well as their community management efforts like reporting inappropriate products and inappropriate comments. You help the customer manager with ad hoc requests.
  • Make sure all the financial, marketing, business and customer support data used for reporting is correct, accurate and complete.
  • Document the processes underlying your data preparation and reporting and effectively communicate this in writing, presentations and flowcharts.
  • Collaborate via Github & code reviews with the two Product Analyst & Lead Product analyst (your lead) in our Looker environment

About you:

  • You have an eye for detail and work precisely
  • You take ownership and pride in the work you do
  • 5+ years of experience in working with SQL, bonus for Python
  • Experience in using reporting tools as a developer (i.e. Looker, QlikView, Tableau or PowerBI)
  • You work well with people from different backgrounds & teams
  • You keep all stakeholders informed and aligned as you prioritise their requests
  • You communicate effectively via presentations, roadmaps, flow charts and in writing
  • Structuring your work and setting priorities come naturally to you
  • You translate the requirements of different stakeholders into effective dashboarding independently

Work perks:

  • Opportunity to join our stock options programme
  • Learning budget (10% from gross yearly salary)
  • 25 working days of holiday
  • Monthly team-building events
  • Remote workout classes
  • A personal budget for shopping on Vinted
