Passionate about helping customers simplify and accelerate their machine learning workloads on AWS and Sagemaker? Come join the AWS Machine Learning Marketplace team and help us build the future of ML.

You'll work alongside engineers and leaders in both AWS Marketplace and Sagemaker. You will have deep understanding and experience building Machine Learning models and how to apply them in practice. You will invent new ways for sellers to package IP and enable buyers with the right capabilities to evaluate, experiment, re-train and integrate machine learning into their systems.

As a Principal Product Manager you'll be responsible for defining the product strategy, working with stakeholders to create consensus on product vision, define the product roadmap to meet customers needs and innovate on their behalf, define the detailed customer experience for new features, and be responsible for growing this new business.


You will own the definition, execution, and delivery of new features and services. Your responsibilities will include engaging with existing buyers, sellers, channel partners, and internal AWS service teams. You will have to identify requirements, defining product features, and work closely with development teams to deliver those features, including defining our pricing and go-to-market strategies. Successful applicants will have experience defining products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of stakeholders.

Successful candidates will possess proven product and project management skills, and will demonstrate experience managing large products and projects. You are expected to be versatile and able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You are not hindered by managing priorities and are able to bring order to ambiguous scenarios. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence are essential to success in this role. You will be data-driven. You can clearly & effectively communicate (written as well as verbally) across the org and up to senior teams.

Basic Qualifications



· 10+ years of experience in product management building web services and multi-tier systems

· Experience using problem solving and analytical skills to solve business problems

· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and prioritizatino

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or advanced degree
· Strong ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple senior teams
· Experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines and proven ability to manage multiple, priorities simultaneously
· Background related to machine learning or data science
· Experience talking with developers in their own language to come to the best solution from the beginning (hobby or professional coding experience in any language)
· Verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organization
