Data Science looking for M.Sc. or other advanced degree students to join Klarna for paid summer internships during 2-3 months, with a possible extension in the fall.

As a Data Science Intern in Klarna you will:

• Be part of a multifunctional team with experienced Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Engineers. We are currently looking for interns specifically for projects involving neural networks, active learning, rejection inference and binary classification. 
• Be involved in the whole process of model development. This includes everything from root cause analysis, data collection and feature engineering to training, validating and implementing machine learning models, computing performance statistics and live model monitoring. 
• Be innovative, cooperative, collaborative, open and have a flexible mindset with critical thinking. 

We are looking for someone who:

• Is studying a master’s or other upper level degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Maths or a similar field. 
• Enjoys programming in Python and querying in SQL. 
• Has good communication skills in English. 
• Likes to be challenged and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. 
• Has some experience with either machine learning, Neural Networks, Active learning for fraud detection, Rejection inference or Binary classification.
