The Consumer Fintech team is looking for a Data Engineering Lead to lead a fast growing team. The Consumer Finance Technology team, responsible for building technical solutions for multi-billion WW Operational Cost analytic including Inbound cost (Receiving / PO), variable Cost, fixed cost, outbound (Customer Shipments / Transportation), and Customer Service.

Your responsibilities will include:

· You will own the technical vision, data security and directions for operational finance by providing solutions through thoughtfully-crafted applications utilizing the Amazon Web Services stack.
· developing data infrastructure and encryption strategies for highly sensitive confidential data. This high impact role will lead a team in designing and building new data infrastructure and work with emerging technologies while driving business intelligence solutions end-to-end.
· You should be an expert in the architecture of DW solutions using multiple platforms.
· The duties includes developing data interface to extract data from operational finance systems and producing scalable and low latency platform for presenting this data to Machine Learning and other platforms. Acting as a gatekeeper for operational finance data and customer related Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that is intended primarily for use within Amazon based on a need-to-know basis; being the data platform owner for operational finance data, implementing Central ownership of data repository and defining data retention polices as per the compliance needs of California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA); and building infrastructure to support collecting and analyzing operational finance data for EU residents and coming up with the data retention framework to remove the customer content upon a customer delete instruction as per the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines.

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
· Experience managing a data or BI team
· Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
· Experience leading and influencing the data strategy of your team or organization
· Experience in SQL

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in data modeling and data driven decision making using statistical software
· Demonstrated industry leadership in the fields of database/data warehousing or big data processing
· Experience forming teams and recruiting engineers
· Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources
· Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies,
· coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
