We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing People Analytics team! In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work with leaders across SEL to deliver action-oriented insights. The ideal candidate has a passion for data without losing sight of the people behind the numbers. Our team leverages Workday, Power BI, and other tools to deliver innovative, sustainable and customer focused solutions to keep SEL a great place to work!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create analytical solutions that deliver accurate, actionable and timely insights.

Create, maintain, and improve reporting solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Help maintain existing data sources and create new data sources following best practices to ensure sustainability and reliability of the data.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their true requirements and then design, build, and test solutions to meet those requirements.

Help develop the analytical skills of others.

Apply, model, and teach SEL Values and Principles of Operations.

Understand. Create. Simplify.


Required Qualifications

Related technical BS degree in Math, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related experience

5+ years of experience analyzing and reporting people data.

Knowledge of Business Intelligence and data handling tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, etc.)

Good organizational and project management skills

Strong interest in People Analytics

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information

Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Negative drug test result(s)


Preferred Qualifications
M.S. degree in Math, Statistics, or Social Sciences with an emphasis on research, or related field
Experience applying statistical skills in any of the following areas: 

compensation, talent, retention, learning and development, employee experience, absence & benefits or safety.

Experience with Workday

Familiarity with data management concepts and practices
