Passionate about helping customers simplify and accelerate their machine learning workloads on SageMaker and AWS? Come join the AWS Machine Learning Marketplace team and help us build the future of ML.

The AWS Machine Learning Marketplace enables sellers to license access to their models and algorithms. As a buyer, we make it easy to find an ML package you need, deploy it to your AWS account, and get started running inferences. We’re looking for highly motivated applied scientists interested in shaping the vision for the future of this space.

On this team, you’ll get to shape, design, and implement AWS Marketplace features that allows customers to package, customize, re-train, and use ML in their production workflows. You’ll be a technical leader that works alongside engineers and leaders in both AWS Marketplace and SageMaker defining the art of what’s possible with AutoML. You’ll get to wear many hats, work fast, work smart, and iterate quickly in a start-up like environment. We are looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of a growing business opportunity and join a tightly-knit team tackling a very interesting and challenging opportunity.

Inclusive Team Culture
Our team is intentional about attracting, developing, and retaining amazing talent from diverse backgrounds. We’re looking for a new teammate who is enthusiastic, empathetic, curious, motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively with a diverse team of peers; someone who will help us amplify the positive & inclusive team culture we’ve been building.

Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and we host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

Work/Life Balance
We understand that sometimes you need to work from home. Outside of quarantine, our team is co-located across our New York and Seattle offices. We work from home as needed for doctors appointments, to take our kids to school, pick them up, and do the things that can’t be done from the office.

Mentorship & Career Growth
We are dedicated to supporting new team members. Our team has a broad mix of experience levels and Amazon tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. You'll have an opportunity to learn from people with and without engineering and science backgrounds through one-on-one mentoring, and helpful code/design reviews. As a Senior Applied Scientist, you'll actively mentor others on the team on the art of what's possible with Machine Learning.
