We are looking for a technically-minded data analyst / ETL developer to work within a quickly growing Payments area.In this role, you will join one of Vinted product domains responsible for payment system and transactional experience. You will be working in a cross-functional product team supporting it with data analysis, insights and data engineering. This team is responsible for the overall development and strategy of our payment system, integration with external Payment Service Providers (PSP), transaction & checkout success. 

In this role, you will:

  • Support the team with valuable data insights and help make decisions about product changes, improvements and strategic direction
  • Define and track KPIs to monitor performance
  • Get involved in the business strategy of our payment service - cost scenarios with different providers, new market launches etc.
  • Take over complex automated financial data reporting pipelines that will become a vital part of Vinted’s data infrastructure & be able to update them in the most scalable way when needed
  • Understand domain-related data and DWH job structure. Take ownership of domain data pipelines, adapt our analytical DWH to any changes that are happening in core

About you:

  • You hold a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Familiar with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, R, Java,  Scala.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Acquainted with SQL (Mysql, Impala).Comfortable with various data structures (JSON, CSV, XML, HTML).
  • Exceptionally attentive to details.
  • Fluent in English.


  • Apache Spark knowledge.
  • Previous ETL development experience.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Qlik, Tableau).
  • Accounting / Financial knowledge.

Please note that this position is based in Vilnius.
The salary range for this position is 2000- 3500 EUR GROSS / month.
