Junior Data Analytics Engineer

We're looking for a talented and passionate Analytics Engineer to join Wildlife's Data Analytics team in São Paulo, Brazil. 

As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining data products that empower hundreds of users to use petabytes of data on a daily basis. You’ll be part of a team composed by analytics engineers that are constantly in touch with Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and the Business Intelligence team, leveraging our process, tools and pipelines in order to have an efficient analytics data layer.

What you'll do

• Be part of a high output team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance;
• Work proactively and closely with data scientists, product managers and business intelligence analysts to improve our information-rich data layer;
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality and performance issues. Being proactive in identifying issues will be key for your success;
• Fully understand the challenges of working with and analyzing data, empowering both data scientists and software engineers;
• Advocate for data engineering best practices inside the team;

What you'll need

• University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;
• Previous experience as a Data Engineer;
• Programmer with SQL proficiency;
• Experience creating data pipelines;
• Knowledge and experience with Python or Spark;
• Knowledge and experience with Airflow or other workflow management tool is a differential;
