Our Team
The YETI team harnesses financial analytics, science, and technology to crack WW Consumer Finance’s toughest challenges and power smart decision-making throughout the organization. We are data leaders who deliver today’s actionable financial analyses and tomorrow’s durable frameworks and software.
Key responsibilities
We are looking for an outstanding data scientist to drive forecasting initiatives throughout WW Consumer Finance. You will develop core science-based forecasting methodologies for all of WW Consumer Finance and build scalable forecasting models for financial metrics. The forecasts you build will provide insight into the drivers of future financial performance and help to guide future plans throughout the Consumer business.
This role is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class forecasting organization to build science-based financial forecasts from the ground up and reinvent how Finance operates at Amazon scale. This is a critical initiative for which you will partner with senior finance and science leaders to identify, prioritize, and resolve endemic capabilities gaps.
The ideal candidate combines data science acumen with strong business judgement. You have versatile modeling skills and are comfortable owning and extracting insights from data. You are excited to learn from and alongside seasoned analysts, economists, data scientists, engineers, and business leaders. You are an excellent communicator and effectively translate technical findings into business action.
