The Role Are you passionate about creating outstanding products that solve real customer problems?  Do you want to drive business results and be responsible for the overall success of your product? Medallia is seeking a Director/Senior Director for Artificial Intelligence products which are built on Medallia Athena- the AI platform. You will be responsible for owning and executing on Medallia‘s product strategy for deriving actionable insights for an enterprise embedded in the customer and employee feedback signals coming from multiple channels, surveys, videos, call recordings, chat data, web clicks,  IoT data and others. You will conceive, enhance and maintain software products which delight Medallia customers and provide them with  descriptive, prescriptive and predictive insights using the latest and greatest in machine learning & artificial intelligence. These data products tell the enterprise what to do to improve customer and employee experiences, including how to measure the effectiveness. Medallia is the world’s largest collection of experience-focused thinkers and software developers and you will be a part of this elite team. Reporting directly to the SVP of Product Management, the Senior Director of Athena Products is a mission critical, hands-on leadership role at Medallia with people management responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities Drive the product roadmap and long-term product strategy for your product.Manage, hire, and develop a team of product managers as needed, as a player-coach Provide clear prioritization of varying product initiatives Lead the definition of product requirements, write PRDs yourself if needed. Lead a team of designers, data scientists and engineers to deliver innovative solutions that delight customers.Collaborate with other teams to ensure your product is driving the desired business results.Track and improve key product metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven track record of launching successful data science based software product offerings 
• Customer-centric perspective 
• Skilled at defining and prioritizing product ideas and organizing them in actionable user stories
• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
• Quantitative educational background.
