Machine Learning Intern

Cresta is seeking talented students for a machine learning internship during the summer of 2021. You will be shipping a machine learning project that will directly impact our customers, while getting the chance to learn more about NLP and to work closely with experienced engineers on the team.  
You’ll be working with one of our machine learning teams to improve the accuracy, robustness and interpretability of our models by experimenting with the latest research and turning this into production code, in order to provide better intelligent coaching to all agents using Cresta. We have several machine learning projects available and we’ll select a project for you based on your interests and experience. We’re an early stage startup and move quickly, so there is a ton of work to go around and plenty of room for growth.

What you'll do:

• Develop and experiment with our core ML models and software to solve challenging NLP problems that directly impact our customers
• Write high-quality clean code and tooling in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate closely with experienced ML engineers and be an integral part of the team
• Participate in reading groups on the latest research in the field

What we look for:

• Actively pursuing a computer science degree with a specialization in ML, or in statistics, or in a related field, and entering your final year
• Fast learners that are keen to own and ship projects
• Available during the summer of 2021 for at least 12 weeks
• Proficiency in modern Python 3
• Experience with training and evaluation of machine learning models
