Now we are looking for a:

PhD Intern for Artificial Intelligence (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Develop research projects in deep learning based on Huawei's AI platform

• During the internship you will contribute to the frontend research in deep learning
• Deliver research projects developed using Huawei's AI platform
• Publish research outcomes in form of scientific publications and open-source code repositories
• Work with a team of experienced researchers on challenges imposed by next-generation deep learning models
• Accelerate deep learning models on the operator level if needed
• Outreach to local and international research community

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Proficiency in one or more popular deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Mindspore)
• Have a publication record at top Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or Natural Language Processing
• Capable of proposing and implementing a research agenda
• Essential knowledge in hardware and computer architectures
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
