Our Analytical Operations department transforms Epsilon's unique data to impact business. As a Lead Analyst of Analytics Solutions, Analytics Operations, you will be responsible for designing and developing visual-based analytical applications within the Analytics Operations platform using Python and workflow automation principles. Also, you will enhance the existing analytics solutions. The primary responsibilities of the Analytics Solutions team cover the design and development of new analytics solutions, tools, and applications, which expands the Epsilon analytics platform's capabilities and improves our analytics teams' productivity. The successful candidate should have deep knowledge of interactive data visualization, data processing using SQL and automation framework. The person should have experience developing interactive visualization and dashboard using leading frameworks in the Python dashboarding ecosystem. In this role, you will:

  • Be an expert on Epsilon Digital Media Services' platform and products.
  • Work extensively with Account Analytics, Engineering, and other Analytics Operations teams.
  • Be a subject matter expert for the applications and tools used or developed by the Analytics Operations platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Analytics Solution team to design and develop visual-based analytical projects.
  • Automate existing ad hoc processes into scalable ones using SQL and Python.
  • Maintain high quality in the design and implementation of the workflow automation suite.
  • Lead or participate in projects to improve Epsilon's PeopleCloud Digital Media Solutions AOPS platform.
  • Serve as a mentor for Analysts and Senior Analysts by leading by example and providing guidance, advice, and feedback on technical and non-technical challenges.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech/B. Engg./ BS in Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical disciplines.
  • 8+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years in a role leading product deliverables.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with designing and developing Python-based interactive visualization applications.
  • 5+ years of hands-on industry use in SQL, including building tables, functions, views, and complex queries.
  • 3+ years of experience with a scripting language (Python, R), including creating reusable functions or libraries.
  • Working experience with leading frameworks in the Python dashboarding ecosystem, such as Streamlit, Plotly and Panel.
  • Experience with workflow automation such as Prefect or Airflow.
  • Familiar with version control such as Git.
  • Extremely detail oriented and takes the initiative to check data quality and integrity on complex datasets.
  • Working experience with one or more distributed data platforms (e.g., Greenplum, Amazon Redshift and/or BigQuery, Hadoop) and data processing (Hive, Spark/PySpark, Dask).
  • Software development experience using Agile development methodologies.
  • Solid problem-solving, communication and writing skills.
  • Highly motivated & driven

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience building SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers and views.
  • Knowledge of Python packages and libraries.
  • Experience working for a marketing data company or data management platform.
  • Experience with statistical modeling (preferred, but not required).
