Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished leader to join our growing team and help lead our business intelligence space in Corporate Systems.  If you are a seasoned technology leader with experience in building, leading, and inspiring a brilliant team of engineers in taking enterprise telecom data from various domains and creating/telling action-oriented stories of business intelligence, this is the right opportunity for you!  In this exciting role, you will be challenged with the opportunity to apply your business acumen in a start-up setting and help analyze, predict and prescribe every aspect of the customer/employee experience from revenue, profitability, retention, finance, supply chain, HR and payroll perspective.

As IT Manager, Advanced Business Intelligence, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop Reporting and Analytics strategies and roadmaps, collaborate with stake holders, align and execute the strategies with measurable business outcomes
  • Develop and implement innovative analytics solutions to support the corporate systems footprint (Finance, Tax, Accounting, Billing, Bill-to-cash, Record-to-report, Audit, HR, Payroll and Supply Chain) using technologies such as SAP SAC, DI, Google BQ, Looker, PowerBI, etc. in a multi-cloud setting
  • Manage a team of analysts, developers, testers, and designers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Create advanced analytics architectures, designs and development with AI-first approach.
  • Design, develop and maintain our reporting infrastructure using the various reporting stacks including SAP SAC, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and QlikSense
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team.
  • Work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, delivering results quickly and iteratively using Agile and DataSecOps
  • Hire, grow and mentor diverse technical team in a 100% remote setting.
  • Lead teams of cross functional teams to deliver business insights across customer/employee journeys and process flows
  • Quickly understand business requirements and operational needs to create business intelligence approaches to enable business transformation
  • Manage operational and program level budgets in-year and across multi-year programs
  • Manage communications across business and technology teams to deliver world class analytics and business insights
  • Assess project risk, provide realistic timelines, proactively act, and ensure robust development performance and stability in production
  • Communicate project/program progress, status, risks, issues etc. to management and stakeholders. This includes providing status on a recurring basis as well as for special circumstances
  • Tracks industry trends and leverage to drive innovation and solution excellence across various functional domains 

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/MIS/ engineering or equivalent. Masters preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading technology teams with preferably 5+ years of experience in telecom domain
  • 5+ of Analytics development experience in SAP SAC. Experience with Google BQ a huge plus
  • 2+ years of experience delivering predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Corporate systems domains from analytics perspective (Finance, Tax, Accounting, Billing, Bill-to-cash, Record-to-report, Audit, HR, Payroll and Supply Chain) using technologies such as SAP SAC, DI, Google BQ, Looker, PowerBI, etc. in a multi-cloud setting
  • Experience in scripting with SQL, Python, JSON, LookML, and/or R
  • Proven track record of hiring, managing, inspiring, and growing a team of architects/developers/analysts/data scientists and delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Experience managing a team of employees and consultants to drive solution delivery.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, database designs and data architecture
  • Experience with big data technologies and advanced data analytics
  • Extensive experience in vendor management across multiple agreements and arrangements for both software and service support
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical information to non-technical audience
  • Collaborative, team builder with strong communication/ interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate, often at higher levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A huge plus if you have experience implementing systems and applications across various corporate systems areas in SAP landscape (Finance, RAR, BRIM, FICA, SCM, Success Factors, Ariba, etc)
  • Project management skills with Agile development experience. PMP or CSM certification a plus
