Product Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive product impact by proposing and conducting quantitative research into key user behaviors and business trends, in partnership with product managers, engineers, designers, and other team members
• Building automated data processes to power real-time dashboards, and building self-service reporting tools to enable others to leverage the data.
• Creating analytical frameworks to enable efficient product experimentation, and working closely with engineers on instrumentation to ensure thorough capture of product data.
• Defining metrics for measuring product success, and creating the tools to effectively track and troubleshoot said metrics.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify product gaps, evangelizing data insights to key stakeholders and defining our product roadmap.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience in a relevant role
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistics and statistical software (e.g., Python, R, SPSS, Stata), and fluency in data visualization
• Experience with Product Analytics platforms Amplitude, Pendo, Heap, Quantum Metric, Google Analytics (Mixpanel experience a huge plus)
• Strong SQL skills (i.e. proven ability to tap into and extract insights from our data pipeline)
• Strong communication skills with a growth and learning mindset
• Ability to translate data into insights for a non-technical audience
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with BI tools like Looker
• Salesforce data
• Experience running A/B tests and a strong understanding of hypothesis testing
• Experience in text and/or time-series analytics

Compensation: Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. This position has a base salary range of $100,000 to $1250,000 + an annual incentive bonus when applicable. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
