About the Job
Your role will be responsible for designing, delivering and implementing training programs related to information security, data management and related regulatory compliance requirements for Rest employees
An experienced trainer, you will be our SME in this space, identifying the best channels to deliver training and monitor it's effectivness.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver and implement training programs with the aim to uplift information security and data management maturity across the organisation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify training needs and develop appropriate materials to support these needs.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they meet business requirements and comply with relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Develop and maintain training materials in a central, accessible location. This includes presentations, manuals, and other documentation, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date and accurate.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in data management, information security, and related regulatory compliance requirements to ensure that training programs reflect industry standards.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the business to ensure that training programs are aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to data management, information security, and related regulatory compliance requirements.
- Work with other members of the training team to ensure that the information security and data management program is aligned with enterprise training framework and strategy.
- Provide coaching and support to employees in relation to information security and data management.
- Monitor and report on the success of training programs to senior management and recommend improvements as required.
- Provide instructor led classroom training to groups and individuals
- Deliver training in Hybrid way of working
Qualifications
About You:
Qualifications and experience:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. information technology, computer science, data, information security) or equivalent experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
- At least 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a financial services or other regulated industry environment.
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs related to data management and / or information security across multiple mediums (e.g. online, in-person).
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal frameworks (e.g. APRA CPS234, APRA CPG235, ASIC requirements).
- Ability to deliver training to groups of varying sizes and levels of expertise.
- Ability to evaluate training needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and other digital learning tools
