Job Description

Role Description:

Solve business problems analytically by assessing available data sources and data sets and generate meaningful insights. Identify factors, test hypotheses, conduct exploratory data analysis, and design solution and outputs. Plan and execute key projects end-to-end. Ensure delivery of all outputs, maintaining quality and timeline expectations and adhering to procedures. Manage client communications and proactively share regular updates to all stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with cross-functional teams to create and evangelize data analytics and business intelligence solutions. Generate new sales leads, and support in pre-sales efforts when needed
- Understand client's business problems and help articulate the problem with an analytics framework. Work closely with business owners to distil analytical and decision support requirements
- Build and demonstrate capabilities to execute deliverables end-to-end including last mile to delivery with minimal handholding
- Design, architect, and develop innovative data analytics solutions that are scalable for repeatable business problems. Design solutions for processing structured and unstructured data and ensure there is process improvement/automation to increase efficiency
- Work with onsite and offshore teams to structure solutions based on analytics tools and techniques. Develop code, statistical models, dashboards, reports, and presentations as per client requirements
- Analyze, assess findings, generate insights, and present accurate results of the work to client stakeholders and give recommendations that have tangible business impacts
- Mentor analysts in the team and upskill them to deliver pilot projects

Qualifications

Qualifications/Certifications:

- BE/ B.Tech, ME/MTech (Computer Science)
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline, preferably Mathematics/Statistics or similar will be an added advantage

Additional Information

What are we looking for?

- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in analytics consulting and professional services
- At least 5 years hands on experience in deploying analytics solutions with clients
- At least 3 years of exposure to retail and/or consumer brands
- Ability to apply first principles and structured approaches to problem solving as opposed to relying excessively on past domain expertise alone
- Strong appreciation for math, retail business and technology
- Strong quantitative mindset, with knowledge of working with numbers
