Data Visualization Specialist

We currently have a vacancy for a Data Visualization Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert. The work will be carried remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team remotely.

Your tasks:

• Assessing customer requirements, determining technical feasibility and documenting results;
• Drafting technical specifications based on functional requirements;
• Creating and editing visual content including maps, charts, and graphs;
• Building interactive and complex data visualizations and analysis tools (e.g., dashboards);
• Developing highly complicated reports (e.g., drill through, drill down, dynamic parameters, sub-reports) and data models (e.g., cubes/tabular models);
• Ensuring in-depth unit, application and integration testing;
• Assisting in the creation and enhancement of design and development standards.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with minimum 5 years of professional experience;
• At least 5 years of experience in data modelling, data visualization and BI report development;
• At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power BI;
• Excellent visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, colour, interaction design and fluency with BI tools;
• Experience in SQL;
• Experience in data preparation, data analysis, data visualization, programming, database administration, and reporting;
• Experience with the complete systems development lifecycle process;
• Experience in Scrum/Agile environments (Jira, Azure DevOps);
• Ability to write detailed documentation (use cases, configuration instructions, and models) for both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Excellent command of the English language.
