We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer, eager to work with our small but elite engineering team to build the software systems running and fueling our state-of-the-art trading strategies.

What are the responsibilities of a Senior QA Engineer?

In this role, you will get to:

• Work closely with developers and other QA engineers to ensure the robustness of our trading systems and internal tools
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts
• Identify, record, document, and trace bugs
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing software
• Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies

Requirements for this role are:

• 4+ years of working experience as a QA engineer (or in a similar role)
• Thorough understanding of state-of-the-art QA methodologies and tools
• Experience working with test automation frameworks, e.g. Robot Framework
• General understanding of web-based applications
• Ability to read, understand and write code (e.g. Python)
• Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in English
• An interest in fintech and trading

Nice to have:

• Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience working in (algorithmic) trading and interacting with stock/cryptocurrency exchanges using different protocols
• Experience working with (trading) equities and or cryptocurrencies
• Experience working with Research Teams, Data Scientists, and AI models
