Job Description

Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio is a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands, supported by media industry leaders, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky. Our team aims to expand and enhance the monitoring and understanding of our streaming quality and customers’ experience by leveraging data, analytics solutions, and industry-standard practices. We are looking for a passionate, talented, inventive, and experienced Data Scientist with a strong machine learning background to join our Analytics team. As part of our team, you will work alongside experienced data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, and Operations Specialists to develop algorithms and modeling techniques aimed to drive enhancements across our Direct-to-Consumer platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in modeling, statistics, and analytics. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end machine learning models, and turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models that solve complex business problems
  • Analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and use statistical models to make predictions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, production-ready machine learning systems
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of machine learning models and make improvements where necessary
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and data science
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong experience in data science, analytics, applied statistics, and machine learning
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
  • Experience with popular machine learning libraries and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, R, or related languages
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and distributed systems
  • Resourceful and able to work autonomously
  • Experience with anomaly detection and alerting is a bonus

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
