Job Description

• Design and implement data strategy for current and new data services solutions
• Interface with developers, product managers, and product analysts to understand data needs
• Collaborate with architects and application development teams to understand product functionality and design direction
• Provide input to estimates of quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement business solutions
• Responsible for working as part of Application Development teams to plan, implement, and test new releases into our production systems environment
• Assist and oversee the delivery of special projects and enhancements; planning, resourcing and executing with compliance with scrum methodologies
• Deliver quality software to production in a consistent and repeatable manner
• Create and maintain efficient workflows for software development and delivery
• Mentor other engineers in data engineering design and automated software delivery
• Provide mentoring/training for junior members if any.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Leader/ Manager.

Qualifications

General requirements:

• At least intermediate skill level of English and have the ability to present to client’s technical leaders and executive team as well as participating online conferences in English
• Good for logical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
• Digital Thinker, Product Mindset, Can-do attitude, and Adaptable
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, communicate effectively with team members and management.

Technical requirements:

• 7+ years of working experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Data Streaming
• Experience in US Healthcare domain
• Proficient with Python programing language and BI tools: Tableau and Power BI 
• Experience in data transformation (ETL) and processing solutions
• Strong experience with SQL database
• Experience in database performance monitoring and tuning
• Knowledge about data modeling and data relationship analysis for the large scale of business applications
• Familiarity working with cloud platform AWS
