Job Description

  • Key contributor in building the Data Management function covering data review/change, edit specification, data transfers and reports

  • Creation and maintenance of documentation, such as Data Management Plans, Data Transfer Agreements, Reports, etc.

  • Awareness and adherence to the appropriate regulatory requirements and industry best practices

  • Involvement in Client Meetings, providing the appropriate direction, where appropriate

  • Continually strive to improve existing systems, processes and procedures to achieve optimal results

  • Ensure data quality and integrity paramount at all times

  • Identification, creation and implementation of new processes/procedures

  • Advocate and support standardization

  • Line Management responsibilities 

  • Adherence to all Medable policies

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Clinical Research, with a large focus with Data Management
  • In-depth knowledge of Clinical Research

  • Proven experience in managing Data Management Teams and processes

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Maintaining high performance teams

  • In-depth knowledge of data standards and best practices

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • In-depth programming skills

  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Google suite, other industry systems

Minimum Level of Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences / Data Science or equivalent

Software Skills: 

  • Clinical Trial Systems familiarity, Programming Experience, Google, MS Office 365, etc.
