SharePoint / PowerBI Developer Contractor

Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics services company seeking a qualified technical developer Contractor with experience in development, administration, customization, and maintenance of PowerBI dashboards and web parts and SharePoint Online intranet solutions. Responsibilities and job requirements are below. This role requires an estimated 35-40 hours/week commitment for approximately 26 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, test, and deploy SharePoint Online solutions; build workflow solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Lead SharePoint system technical analysis and design including conceptual and functional prototypes, data analysis, and architectural and functional testing
  • Develop product functional and technical requirements and design documents and specifications based on business requirements.
  • Work closely with developers, project managers, subject matter experts, team leads, and upper management to understand functional requirements and make recommendations regarding system design, solutions, and procedures 
  • Keep up-to-date with new features and functionality in SharePoint Online and recommend improvements to existing solutions
  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate SharePoint administrative tasks and data extraction
  • Support firm applications using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, with SQL backend databases
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL development, including creation of advanced SQL queries and stored procedures 
  • Provide functional and technical troubleshooting for existing applications, including root cause analysis; perform fixes/enhancements as needed  
  • Utilize PowerBI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports; integrate with intranet firm pages; effectively translate business needs, both stated and implied, into workable solutions at all stages of the project process, from envisioning to end product delivery 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years SharePoint Online custom development and administration experience; strong understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate architecture, configuration, and administration
  • Experience with building Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and integrating with SharePoint Online; understanding best practices for security and role access
  • Strong command of essential technologies and frameworks (C#, ASP.NET, HTML5/ JavaScript/CSS,VB.NET, RestAPI, SQL)  
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Microsoft certifications in SharePoint, Office 365 or related technologies, a plus
