We are looking for a Data Specialist Solution Consultant with applied sport knowledge to help drive business growth of data related services globally, with major focus on the global pre-sales and post-sales deliverables, methodologies and processes. This person will be a key member in helping us create growth in a region of strategic importance to Hudl that serves our elite revenue team and customers (high performing universities, national governing bodies and professional sports organizations) across the world and particularly in Europe. The context of this role is linked to the desire of many sports organizations to develop their data strategies to increase effective decision making and efficiencies of time.

In this role, you will provide support for Pre-Sales, Pro Service and Product Innovation phases of our Elite customer journey to help Hudl achieve significant annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets. 

This role can be based in either of our following offices: Milan or Chiavari, Italy, Barcelona or Almeria, Spain or London, UK.

  • Experienced. You demonstrate Data Analytics Skills preferably in a Sports context, skills including: Javascript, Python / R, SQL, Tableau, Data modeling.
  • Goal oriented. You are motivated by improving the customer experience and hitting revenue goals.
  • Analytical. You are good with scientific methods and numbers but also like to get your hands dirty and hit the road with your team to meet with customers.
  • Multilingual. You speak English, whilst other languages such as Spanish, Italian, German and French are desirable, and you are used to working with diverse cultures.

You Will 

  • Support activities of our sales team in opportunities, large consulting and professional services projects based on deep knowledge of elite sports in Europe. Specifically those High Performance Workflows that relate to the applied data science areas of Pro Suite - Insight, Wyscout Football Data and Data as a Service.
  • Collaborate. You will work closely with our Sales Pods, including our Data Licensing team, to grow a pipeline of new opportunities, generate revenue and articulate compelling multi-pillar solutions that address identified customer needs.
  • Build relationships. You will work with key customers to help identify areas of growth and support.
  • Deliver. You will help deliver our technical pre-sales solution selling and work with our post-sales implementation team on the consulting process to help our Elite Customers see the value of our offerings.
  • Guide our future decisions related to offerings across the world, by using your knowledge, experience and customer engagement related to the application of High Performance applied data methods within Elite sporting organizations.
  • Lead technical sales interactions with customers and draft technical content of RFP and large solution-based projects.
  • Implement Pre-Sales methodologies across the board for the Elite Sales organization, including the assistance of internal and external training materials dedicated to Recruitment, Team Performance, Human Performance and Data Licencing Companies, including the role technology plays in aiding successful High Performance Workflows.
