Job Description

Are you studying Mechatronics or Robotics (HBO/WO)? Are you excited to work on optimizing an AGV robot control? Then read on quickly!

During this internship, you will work on optimizing and implementing control algorithms under 'real life' conditions!

Practical information:

• This internship can be in the form of a co-working internship or a graduation internship.
• You can start right away for a period of 6 months, 40 hours a week. 
• You speak English and/or Dutch.

Qualifications

A Juno is an AGV robot used to feed cows. The idea is to use a LIDAR for its navigation job. The feed fence can be used as a reference for the navigation task. The challenge in this assignment is that there are many different feed fronts. There may also be cows present at the feed fence that are disruptive. Examples of activities during this internship:

• Build and prepare the necessary hardware.
• Collecting and analyzing data (from e.g., farms).
• Create algorithms to survive the data. Build controllers.

And of all: you will be going to test these tasks on a real robot!

Job requirements:

• You are familiar with SLAM.
• Algorithm Development does not sound unfamiliar to you!
• Experience with ROS, Control, Python.
