  What you’ll be doing:

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to build data systems to help track and improve the efficiency of our AV operations. We are not only looking for someone who can masterfully manipulate data, but also work seamlessly with a wide variety of stakeholders involved in our AV operations. This role will report to the Manager of the Product Operations team within the Go To Market function.

  • Design, build, launch, and maintain databases, ETL pipelines, dashboards, and reports to help improve AV operations
  • Utilize Looker, Google Cloud, SQL, and Python to pull data and provide analytical insights to solve operational and business problems
  • Monitor databases for data integrity and quickly resolve issues using an agile approach
  • Set up tests and perform statistical analyses to determine the effectiveness of operational changes
  • Partner with the Operational Analytics team to prepare reports for leadership to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions
  • Train cross functional stakeholders on how to leverage Cruise’s operational data to improve their workflows

 

What You Must Have:
  • 2-3 years of experience analyzing, manipulating, and visualizing large datasets and building databases and ETL pipelines
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Experience using Looker, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or relevant field
  • General knowledge of statistics

 

Bonus Points
  • Proficiency in R, C++, and/or other coding languages
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Advanced statistics knowledge
  • Experience in automotive industry, operational environment, or similarly fast-paced technology environment
