Over 70,000 businesses and millions of people use 1Password to protect their most important information. We’re a kind, curious, and customer-focused team on a mission to build the world's most-loved password manager and give people more control over their data.
The Data Team’s mission is to deliver actionable insights throughout 1Password, champion a metrics-driven culture within the organization, empower self-serve analytics, and engineer data pipelines between various operational and analytical systems, while assuring customer privacy, data integrity, and latency requirements are upheld.
This is a cross-functional role. The Marketing Data Analyst will work closely with the Marketing and Data Teams. You will conduct ad-hoc data analysis, identify what metrics need to be measured, and what data pipelines need to be built. You will answer any ad-hoc questions, own all reports and dashboards, and ensure data hygiene is consistently high.

  • 2+ Years as Marketing, Sales, or Growth Data Analyst in a SaaS company.
  • An analytical, detail driven problem solver with a keen eye for uncovering actionable insights that can be applied to drive the business.
  • Expertise with Marketing & CRM tools (Salesforce, Marketo, Intercom, GA, etc.).
  • Expertise with SQL & Excel for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience building funnel analysis, attribution modelling, and marketing mix models.
  • Experience working with modern BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Experience working in environments with the highest standards of data privacy and security.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meeting the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast-paced organization – be ready to roll your sleeves up and continually adapt because we’re growing exponentially.

What you can expect:

  • Analyze demand generation processes such as sales funnels, email, and ad campaigns.
  • Drive decision making within your organization to ensure marketing dollars are efficiently spent and business processes are optimized.
  • Establish an analytical framework for your team: partner across stakeholders to define measurement approach, quantify, and evaluate success.
  • Develop KPIs and guide tracking efforts for ongoing measurement and reporting.
  • Develop revenue models centered around new, expansion, downgrade, and churn revenue by source and cohort.
  • Work with marketing leadership to define data needs and oversee execution of data and analytics projects.

  • Expert level proficiency in SQL & Excel.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse architecture.
  • Ability to use python for data analysis.

Would be nice:

  • Direct experience as a business analyst for a growth-focused marketing team.
