Data Analyst - Customers Incentives and Personalization

About the Role
As our Data Analyst, you'll be mining insights from the sea of data, building data products, and designing experiments with the ability to see the real-time impact of your contribution. You'll get to work with a talented troop of fellow analysts and data scientists, and spend a majority of your time diving deep into some of the most challenging analytical problems in the Gojek Customer Platform - specifically the brain that powers Gojek’s customers incentives and personalization.

What You Will Do

• Deliver insight, analysis, data visualizations and business use cases to product and business team
• Perform analysis to determine new project pilot settings, new features, user behavior, & in-app behavior
• Build & maintain dashboards for tracking product group's OKR
• Partner with Product Managers and Business teams to help them create decisions based on decision science
• Assist the Product and Business team in identifying product or business opportunities; support product delivery processes (i.e. experimentation)

What You Will Need

• At least 5 years of working experience with advanced statistics and product analytics. Furthermore with strong business sense and data-driven role background
• Expert in SQL and strong experience with a data visualization and dashboarding tool (e.g. Tableau, Metabase, google data studio)
• Good knowledge of ETL tools and building
• Good knowledge of Python for statistical analysis
• Comfortable working both independently with minimal guidance and in a team setting
• Ability to use critical thinking daily to manage daily tasks while being goal-oriented 
• Ability to transform an ambiguous business or product problem into a well-scoped and impactful analysis; able to design simple experiments

About the Team
CAST (Centralized Analytics and Science team) is a team of 25 data scientists, analysts and decision scientists that support multiple products and platforms within Gojek - from Groceries to the app's home screen to the in-app communication services. We partner up with products and businesses to provide data solutions to some of their most pressing and impactful data projects. The coolest part of being a part of this team is that we get to work on multiple lines of business and products that Gojek has, not just stick to one!
While our team is based all over the region (Singapore, India, and Indonesia), we are all concerned with solving issues within multiple departments and products, from marketing to customer experience, and ensuring that we have fun throughout the process. For real - our weekly conversations range from how we can better personalize our app's homepage to what our plans are for the coming weekend. When we aren't working, you'd probably find a lot of us battling it out on various mobile games, or binging the latest Netflix shows.
