Regional BI - Data Analyst

Job Description:

• Conduct descriptive and diagnostics analytics, work together with our business team, including product teams, business development teams, brand partnership teams etc, to monitor their business / product performance based on data and achieve their targets. Able to answer questions such as “What is it” and “Why is it” using data.   
• Work with big data at Shopee using the Hadoop ecosystem (pyspark, presto, clickhouse, etc), gather business requirements, design and provide big data solutions in an efficient manner.  
• Participate in the regular catchup with stakeholder to understand the changes on the business side. Proactively monitor the trends in the reports and create alert to your stakeholders when abnormal happens. Work together with them to explore reason behind and take actions to drive performances accordingly.

Requirements:

• Familiar with python and SQL.
• Outstanding in interpersonal communications
• Resourceful problem solver, able to problem solve using data
• Experience in technology companies, analytical roles is a plus
• Bachelor degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, IS, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
• Candidates with experience in Pyspark, Hadoop are preferable
