Our Field Engineers are dedicated to ensuring seamless and optimized customer experiences with Scale's groundbreaking technology. By partnering closely with our Customer Success and Operations teams, you will guide existing customers in building robust, production-grade data pipelines. Your expertise in our products, codebase, and general technical knowledge in web development, APIs, and handling large volumes of data will allow you to create the necessary tools and documentation for scalable growth.

You will:

• Craft and engineer end-to-end data integrations, seamlessly synchronizing customer data with Scale's cutting-edge platform, and vice versa.
• Collaborate with our customer’s engineering and Scale Operations teams to fine-tune data pipelines, masterfully designing API endpoints and input/output schemas for optimal performance.
• Innovate, design, and maintain playbooks, internal tools, Scale's documentation, and SDKs that empower customers to achieve long-term success with ease and efficiency.
• Join forces with our Customer Success and Operations teams to tackle and eliminate any technical obstacles customers may encounter, taking ownership of technical escalations and ensuring smooth delivery.
• Work closely with Project and Operation Managers to uncover customer-specific feature requests, bringing their visions to life.
• Hone your technical domain expertise in the exciting realms of Computer Vision, perception, autonomous vehicles, and API integrations, and become an industry trailblazer.

Ideally you'd have:

• Excellent (B2+/C1) written and spoken English - enough to communicate effectively with native English speakers and customers and understand technical concepts in English
• Track record of success as a hybrid customer-facing engineer or similar function, wearing multiple hats along the way.
• Prior technical hands-on experience working with internal and external stakeholders in a post-sales capacity to realize business goals.
• Prior experience developing with JavaScript/ Typescript, Python, or other modern software languages.
• Strong engineering background preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields (STEM).
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
• Intellectual curiosity, empathy, and ability to operate with high velocity.
