OverviewVerkada’s Marketing team is looking for a high-talent Senior Marketing Data Analyst to develop, implement and improve the Marketing analytics stack. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics, you will play a vital role in creating world-class Marketing Analytics capabilities that will drive the next growth phase at Verkada. 
Successful Marketing Analytics leaders at Verkada are fluent in SQL, understand the principles of effective data visualization and know how to contextualize their work in the business in order to drive growth. They steer the marketing group towards outsized results by creating key metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design & build self-serve ad hoc marketing reporting environment
• Maintain department dashboards showing quarterly performance, channel performance, etc…
• Work cross functionally with Finance and other business units to ensure Marketing quarterly planning aligns with corporate strategy
• Be responsible for defining and clearly articulating marketing KPIs to serve the team and management
• Ensure leadership is equipped with accurate and timely data for executive and board meetings
• Enable internal marketing departments with advanced analytics

Requirements

• 2-3 years of business analytics experience in a go-to-market context in a  mid to large size SaaS or hardware business
• 4-5 years work experience at Enterprise SaaS companies or similar
• 2-3 years experience working with Salesforce Demonstrated track record of success in a high-growth, self-directed business environment
• Analytical mindset, capable of understanding advanced abstract relationships and concrete systems/data
• Proven track record of creating alignment amongst peers through negotiation, guidance, and empathy that drives projects towards effective completion
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience creating executive level presentations
• Software engineering experience (Python, Javascript, SQL, Ruby, etc…)
• Familiarity with business systems: Marketo, Google Analytics, Outreach, GSuite, etc…
• Direct experience in Marketing analytics
