AI/ML-powered Trading Strategy Researcher (and Implementer)

At White Wind Research, we are looking for an AI/ML expert with trading knowledge to work on our AI-assisted cryptocurrency trading project. This includes both fully-automated trading (i.e., a trading bot) and AI-based assistance for further research and analysis to be made by humans.

This project is our first at our company, and this position will be our first hire.

Please note that this position requires a self-motivated individual.

Key Qualifications

• You are required to be experienced with AI/ML. You need to know how modern neural networks work as you will need to implement them from scratch.
• You must be familiar with cryptocurrency.
• You must have knowledge of finance and trading. You must be familiar with at least basic trading terms like SMA/EMA, Volume, OHLC, Bull and Bear, Support and Resistance.
• You must have proven experience working in a similar field that supports the qualifications specified in this section. You must have senior-level experience and knowledge working with AI/ML technologies.
• You must have excellent communication skills. You are also required to be fluent in English.
• Since this position will involve risky investments, you must be a perfectionist in general. You are required to have a risk assessment-first approach in your mind.

The ideal candidate should have real experience with trading (especially cryptocurrency trading) with the trend and technical analysis knowledge.

There are no specific programming language requirements, but in general, we require more than just Python.

Your Responsibilities

Your position will be full-time, mainly consisting of researching and implementing various trading strategies and ideas while making use of AI/ML technologies to assist in this process. You will also use the latter to automate the trading tasks with efforts to create a "trading bot".
