We are looking for a BI Analyst for the new area of ​​Data & Analytics, whose main mission is to be a part of driving force of business performance and business insights at Makro Spain that can lead to impactful decisions through the data :

-Work with BI and Pricing team to Harmonize / rationalize the company extensive data Pricing pipelines (ELT process) to maximize the data model and optimize the delivery of the reporting layer.

-Work together with Commercial (Pricing & Purchasing) in the definition and design of the Pricing 360º reporting.

-Design of KPIs and Dashboards to help the area in decision making (activation): index price, Gross Profit Margin, share of sales, Price elasticity of demand.

-Work with stakeholders including the Managers and business users to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data solution needs.

Requisitos

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be a leading force supporting the Data Manager in:

• You will contribute with your knowledge and experience to improve and increase the company’s pricing knowledge. The final goal is to set up, evolve and maintain platform data pipelines so the Sales department can be independent to understand and handle their own insights.

• Support the Pricing area in the implementation of a consistent reporting flow (through MicroStrategy) with relevant information for the department's decision-making.

• Being used to handling information for the construction of KPIs related to the domain of pricing such as: index price, Gross Profit Margin, share of sales, Market Price …etc

• Being used to pricing business processes (product selection, cost analysis, market comparison, set pricing).

• Have experience in the creation of datamarts and work with large volumes of data for the generation of optimal reporting.

• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.

EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Programming or a technical career

• 3-7 years in similar positions– ideally pricing retail company

• Excellent data modeling and querying capacity in Google Big Query, Oracle, Sqlserver…etc)

• Valuable knowledge in our Data visualization tool as MicroStrategy

• Experience with scripting languages: Python or R at least

• Valuable knowledge in our Etl tool as Talend (valuable knowledge of cloud versions).
