About your future role

Before you start working in our Northern Issuing Core Platforms team, you will go through well-structured education that will prepare you for your new role. This role provides you with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining work from home and from the office. 

You will report to Head of Data & New Value Streams and play a leading role in the team organized within Northern Issuing Core Platforms. Our mission is to deliver great data products to our customers orchestrated through our Data Productivity (DP) Agile Release Train (ART) in which you will also take a leading role as Release Train Engineer (RTE).
You will be manager for a team of eight professionals with different capabilities delivering on our data agenda.

In the role of RTE you will be working closely together with the ART leadership and be responsible for optimizing delivery of initiatives with your ability to guide and coordinate 60+ people - working from across multiple locations - in a scaled agile setup (SAFe).

Further you will:

  • Be an ambitious people manager for your team and surrounding colleagues
  • Thrive with structure and facilitation of (ART) ceremonies in an international setting
  • Manage your function’s budget and resources
  • Proactively agree on and align team and individual performance targets
  • Build effective and highly motivated teams
  • Secure flow of value through strong stakeholder communication, coaching, and teaching

We would like to hear from you if you are a strong collaborator and facilitator who takes the initiative and has several years of experience working with people and data management.

This can include:

  • Relevant education at Master’s level
  • Experience with IT development and managing in a data analytics leadership role
  • Strong experience with the RTE role and with working agile - preferably in the FinTech industry
  • Deep understanding of agile roles including their problems, risks and ways to resolve them

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

  • Excellent people skills and a deep passion for the professional development of your team
  • Strong English communication, facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate data insights to a non-technical audience.
