Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated working student to join our team as a Python Developer. You will develop a tool using Python to evaluate computer vision algorithms in an optical system with a graphical user interface.
• You will collaborate with the team to design and implement software features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and afterwards test and debug code to ensure high-quality software.
• You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of the team's coding standards and best practices.
• Not least, you will create and maintain the GUI using Python libraries such as PyQt.

Qualifications

• Education: studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: proficiency in Python, strong understanding of computer vision techniques and algorithms, familiar with optical systems and their components, experience with GUI development using Python libraries such as PyQt
• Personality and Working Practice: ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Languages: very good in German and English

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10 h/week
