Job Description

Our team is responsible for enabling a wide variety of Bosch product teams to make use of advancements in AI through centralized services that involve streaming data from connected services to building and deploying state-of-art AI solutions. You will be part of a global team to make this happen!

We are looking for a talented professional who is passionate about building fault-tolerant AI Platform MLOps ecosystem on Azure cloud and On-Perm infrastructure. Your work will be used by hundreds of Bosch engineers and will have global impact by improving the quality and value of Bosch products.

Requirement:

• Hands-on experience with building Python/Java/Scala based data pipelines. Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language and should be willing to learn more. Experience with developing Airflow jobs would be a plus.
• Good understanding and experience of administering and developing data and ML solutions on Azure cloud.
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes cloud, Docker, Terraform, ARM templates, etc.
• Exposure to and experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) concepts.
• Hands on experience with designing and implementing MLOps systems.
• Exposure to BigData technologies like DataBricks, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Sqoop, etc.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL and Document based data storage systems like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Teradata, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Solr, etc.
• Understanding of Machine Learning libraries, utilities, etc would be big plus.
• Experience with taking Machine Learning code to distributed BigData platforms with a focus on data quality during migration of platforms.
• Experience with designing and building robust, highly scalable and highly available data driven pipelines and applications.
• Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipeline for data integration jobs using Jenkins will be a plus.
• Experience with building or migrating data pipelines to cloud (AWS/Azure) infrastructure will be a plus.
• Experience building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Containers, Databricks, Synapse DB, AKS, Azure DevOps.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification would be highly valuable.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and scalable code and automation for Machine Learning Infrastructure on Azure Cloud as well as on on-perm infrastructure.
• You would be working on developing and maintaining robust data extraction/ingestion frameworks, feature extraction pipelines and storage solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline for code being developed and constantly work towards improving the release pipeline.
• Actively participate in design and code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs in design and code and device solutions to ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the pipelines being developed.
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to build, improve and maintain the best AI and ML platform for BOSCH.
• Take accountability and ownership of Platform Engineering and DevOps projects and become the subject matter expert of end-to-end process.
• Constantly research and be cognizant of latest emerging technologies in Open Source, Cloud and Machine Learning.
• Contribute and drive POC projects, build MVPs and persuade business and internal BOSCH customers to invest in best technological solutions for improving profitability and reducing technical debt.
• Take lead of MLOps projects and assignments. Mentor and coach junior engineers to sharpen and strengthen their skill-sets to be successful in their engineering careers.
• Help BOSCH find and onboard best talents in the industry by being part of the interview panel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in computer science engineering or related technical field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing MLOps solutions on cloud and On-Prem.
