Join the ControlUp team!We are looking for highly motivated professionals who are passionate about technology and who know how to have fun.ControlUp is the leading IT platform for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtualization environments and server performance.At ConstrolUp's Data department, we are handling billions of events and processing terabytes every day!If you are interested in real-scale data challenges, working on a life-changing product, your place is with us! Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deliver microservices and Data PipelinesTake technical responsibility for software componentsBe a technical thought-leader and assist the team in making decisions during software developmentMaintain, support, and improve existing platforms and components Requirements:7+ years of experience writing and deploying production code.3+ years of JVM-based programming language, Scala is an advantage.3+ years of professional experience using Big Data technology (e.g. Spark/Hadoop).1+ years experience using Stream technology (e.g. Flink/Akka Streams/Spark Streaming/Kafka)2+ years experience using NoSQL databases (e.g. Redis, Casandra, ElasticSearch, HBase, TimeScale, etc.)A can-do attitudeExcellent problem-solving skillsDeep knowledge of component systems architecture, including distributed systems architecture and multiple programming languagesStrong working knowledge of Agile methodologyStrong communication skills and willingness to be a team playerFluent English (including reading/writing skills) Advantages:Working in Linux EnvironmentExperience in CI/CD methodologyExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with TDD methodology
