Job Description

Team members work as part of a global engineering team responsible for the reliability of WDC (HDD/SSD) products as they are integrated into our customers' product environments.  The Quality Data Analytics team in particular provides high quality, user friendly analytical solutions that help provide critical insights though data. These insights are leveraged by the wider quality organization to drive improvements required to make the most reliable product possible.   Success in this position requires proficiency in data engineering and visual analytics. The scope of this position includes performing data engineering, automating repetitive tasks, and delivering visual analytics. The ideal candidate will be able to perform these technical tasks and also engage and collaborate with various functional areas inside WDC within US and Asia.

Qualifications

• Data Engineering Experience 
• Visual Analytics Experience  (Spotfire, Tableau)
• Programing Experience  (SQL, Python, HTML)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 5 Yrs experience ideally
• B.S in Computer Science, Math, Analytics
