Job Description

Overview:

In order to drive media excellence, it is vital for an organisation to be continuously learning and have an evidence-based approach in defining best practices. The Insights EBD will be a key player in facilitating this continuous learning process by implementing the necessary structures and developing the responses to strategic client issues. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a keen understanding in campaign strategies, media data analytics, testing and research opportunities across different publishers and providers, and have hands-on expertise with creation of digital campaign strategies, conceptualizing A/B testing and the analysis and optimisation of digital campaigns. More importantly, the candidate should be creative in problem-solving, and have a solution-oriented approach. This role is primarily focused on digital, but understanding of classical channels and consumer studies is also important.

 

Role Objectives: 

  • Work with internal stakeholders to enhance analytic and insight generation processes, and apply corresponding best practices for the client.
  • Design supporting structures and processes to facilitate insight generation, collection, retention and application within the client team.
  • Provide support and coordinate internal stakeholders in developing analytic responses to client strategic issues. Topics may include audience strategies, channel strategies, data modelling, cross-channel attribution, media effectiveness measurements (benchmarking and KPIs), and digital reporting.
  • Fostering creative thinking around how we use media-relevant data, and we could use them to boost business performances.
  • Identify testing opportunities within campaign media strategies and tactics and create sound testing approaches within and across campaigns.
  • Steer internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate test implementations and result analyses.
  • Work with our Digital teams to monitor campaign performance to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Managing efficient execution of projects, including the implementation of best practices.
  • Building a collaborative team environment, including participation in department-wide training efforts and fostering knowledge sharing among team members.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in client consulting, analytics or strategy with an advertising agency, management consulting company, or ad tech company
  • Passion for online advertising and emerging trends in the digital landscape
  • Strong relationship and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of digital data technologies (digital reporting, DSPs, Ad servers, DMPs, Google Analytics, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.)
  • A four-year college degree; advanced degree is a plus
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Fluency in German and English
