The Opportunity

Airtime Rewards is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing trends and providing insights to our key retailers, as well as supporting our Sales Team with the delivery of data-led insights to improve performance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data analysis and data-driven decision making, and will have strong communication and presentation skills.


Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, the main responsibilities are:


  • Analyse data to identify trends and insights that can be used to improve the performance of our key retailers
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop a strategy to prove the return on investment to our retailers
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insight into key performance indicators
  • Use data storytelling to communicate findings to key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Build and maintain relationships with key retailers to understand their business needs and requirements
  • Develop a deep understanding of our app and technology to effectively communicate the value proposition to our key retailers
  • Be proactive, understand member behaviour and be curious around how different campaigns are performing - and formulate ways to optimise consistently
  • Evaluate existing ways of working, discover the best ways of communicating the value of our platform, and innovative ways to engage with different retailers
  • The ability to interpret data insights from differing retailer perspectives based on their individual need

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in a sales or marketing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in SQL (we use GCP so previous experience would be beneficial) and Excel, and experience working with data visualisation tools (we use Metabase)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with large datasets and ability to clean and manipulate data.
  • Able to commute to our Manchester office twice per week
