Our Data Journey:

Wallbox is committed to become a data driven company, not only for improving our decision making processes but also for helping us drive better our product development and incorporate data into our existing products or even create new business models.

We started our data journey just one year ago and it has already been an amazing drive! We’ve built a passionate and vibrant team, organised in a hub & spoke model, with roles such as data analysts, data engineers and analytics engineers.

Also we’ve been building a modern data stack, with technologies like Snowflake, Airflow, Fivetran, DBT, Tableau and Databricks. Our long term vision is to walk towards a data mesh model, where we will split people into producers and consumers domains.

Today our data lake is ingesting more than 1M events per hour coming from more than 350 sensors in our chargers. And this is just the beginning, as our goal is to reach one million online chargers by 2025.

Requirements

What will you be doing?

• Work as a Data analyst for our Operations team which is responsible for production planning, continuous improvement, material management and process optimization at Wallbox
• Engage with internal stakeholders to gain an understanding of the problems that need to be solved and gather requirements for analytical tasks
• Enable data driven process improvements through analysis of sales, production, logistics and external data
• Extract, load and reconcile large data sets from multiple system platforms and sources.
• Utilise SQL or other advanced analytic tools to perform data extract and query functions.
• Build post-measure dashboards that will serve as a monitoring tool for diverse stakeholders and assess the impact of new process improvements
• Work with Data Engineers to identify and add new datasets to the data platform. Collaborate with them for roadmap definition.
• Be a steward of data quality, ensuring that metrics and KPIs are consistently reported across the catalogue of dashboards and data products
• Have a key role in building data culture within the company
• Define the direction, structure, processes, and standards for Data across the company (e.g. experimentation framework)
• Drive a culture of data-informed decision making as we scale.

Must have:

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering or other fields with a strong mathematical-statistical background
• 2+ years experience in working in a data driven analytics environment including an understanding of how to engage and influence decision makers
• Exceptional analytical skills, lateral thinking and experience in solving highly challenging problems
• Be fluent with one or more common data-related programming languages (Python or R)
• Very good knowledge of SQL and experience in working with large data sets
• Fluent in business English
  

Nice to have:

• Experience in working with Data Visualisation tools (e.g.Tableau, Qlikview)
• Experience in Manufacturing, Operations,Energy, Mobility or Automotive industry will be good to have
• Experience in working with predictive models
