This position will perform a broad range of engineering & testing support for a Maritime unmanned vehicle program. The scope of the project encompasses software development, software web interface development, software integration, software configuration management, maintenance of software continuous integration environments, software containerization, development of data analysis scripts in support of evaluation of autonomous system performance, and system engineering and analysis in support of evaluation of autonomous system performance.

Requirements

• 2 years of software development experience in programming languages and frameworks including, but not limited to, HTML/CSS, PostgreSQL, Typescript, JavaScript, React and Cesium
• 2 years of experience in software engineering and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 2 years of experience in agile software development process
• 2 years of experience analyzing and documenting performance of autonomous unmanned systems
• 1 year of experience in writing test procedures, processes and reports
• Proficient in Python, C++, and RTI DDS.
• Experience with data analysis (Plotly, Dash, numpy, Pandas, matplotlib, etc.)
• Experience with Mapping / GIS
• Experience with Grafana and time series databases (e.g., Influx / Timescale)
• Experience Data engineering preferred.
• Experience with publish / subscribe frameworks (e.g., DDS/ROS, Kafka, MQTT, Pulsar, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Statistics or Engineering form an accredited college or university.
• DoD Secret clearance required. A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

• Provide engineering support services to maintain and improve the software continuous integration (CI) environments for multiple projects.
• Adjust and add automated checking processes to the existing pipelines, maintain documentation and assist with migrating between CI environments, as needed.
• Containerizing government owned software products and ensuring that such containers and software meet the requirements defined by the guiding documentation.
• Deliverables for this effort include containerized software, software documentation, software test plans, software test reports, and software scripts for CI management and integration.

Salary Range: $112,000 - $123,000 annually.
