Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a "Senior DevOps Engineer - Autonomous Driving" to:
- Design, develop, and implement automated processes for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of our autonomous driving Technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance engineers, and operations teams, to identify areas for improvement in the software delivery process
- Manage and maintain the tools and infrastructure necessary for CI/CD, including build servers, code repositories, and deployment automation tools
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the CI/CD infrastructure, including implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging systems
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our CI/CD processes
- Develop and implement infrastructure, frameworks, and tools to enhance the efficiency of the development process, accelerate testing, and streamline release cycles while ensuring a positive developer experience
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship other DevOps engineers to facilitate their professional growth, enhance their skills and knowledge, and ensure they are well-equipped to execute their responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
- MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related data software field
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD in a software development environment
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, or Puppet
- Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Grafana or Splunk
- Proficiency in systems administration of Linux or Unix-based systems and Windows
- Experience with Artifact Management Systems such as Nexus, JFrog Artifactory, or AWS CodeArtifact
- Familiarity with build and package management systems such as Conan, Maven, Gradle, or CMake
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, especially across organizational and geographical boundaries.
WAYS TO STAND OUT:
- Experience with implementing and maintaining security and compliance controls in a CI/CD environment
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiar with code quality tools (e.g. Sonar, Axivion Bauhaus)
- Experience with GitOps or other modern DevOps methodologies
- Experience in mentoring or leading other DevOps or CI/CD engineers
- Ability to motivate others, drive and foster collaboration, and promptly resolve conflicts
