Job Description
The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for a highly motivated individual to support Bosch products, including
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop performance and aging models for Bosch devices including polymer electrolyte membrane electrolysis cells
- Build models which utilize machine learning and hybrid modeling approaches to capture complex physical phenomena and accelerate solution time of physical models
- Develop multiscale models together with materials and systems modelers
- Collaborate with experimentalists for model parameterization and validatation
- Collaborate with top universities and our partners in Silicon Valley
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Controls Engineering,
- Proven research track record and experience in: applied mathematics, thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, transport phenomena, numerical methods, machine learning, and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrochemistry, especially electrolysis, is desirable.
- Prior experience with machine learning is of interest.
- Experience with Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++
- Autonomy, attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, excellent communication, and teamwork skills

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 - $155,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
