Job Title: Big Data Solutions Data Science

Reporting to: Lead Product Manager

Location: India(Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled data scientist to join our team and lead the implementation of our proprietary Big Data Machine Learning solution in the financial crime space. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing complex financial data, configuring predictive models, and implementing advanced analytical methods to test and validate output generated by the predictive models. The key responsibilities will include -

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to identify & validate patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activity
• Understand and implement the different configuration techniques across financial crime solution suite
• Collaborate and communicate data requirements and formats to customers
• Collaborate with solution engineers, SMEs, product owners, product managers and development teams to get the optimal output for the customer
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of analytical models and algorithms, and make recommendations for improvements
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to financial crime detection and prevention
• Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related field, preferably in the financial services industry
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, and experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of statistical modelling techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify patterns and trends
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers in simple manner
